Welcome to The Story of Christmas
Founded in 1978, The Story of Christmas is a concert that takes place each year at St George's Hanover Square in Mayfair and is followed by a glittering champagne reception and charity auction. The Event is organised as a special celebration of the festive season. It raises funds to support charitable projects that benefit homeless people and disadvantaged children in and around London. The Story of Christmas is supported by private and corporate benefactors, together with famous faces from the worlds of stage and screen who perform live. It is a private Event, tickets to which are offered by invitation.
This year the Event takes place on Tuesday 17 December 2013. We will be joined by The Story of Christmas's President, Dame Judi Dench, Vice President, Aled Jones MBE, and a host of celebrated names. A spectacular feast of Christmas music will be performed by the Band and Fanfare Trumpeters of the Welsh Guards and the choristers and lay clerks of the Choir of St George's Chapel Windsor Castle. Following this, there will be a magnificent champagne reception in the Ballroom at The Dorchester on Park Lane.
Tickets are offered as part of a series of corporate packages, which range from £1,500 - £10,000. Private supporters donating at least £500 are offered a pair of tickets.
